First introduced in 2012 to recognize BIM in Infrastructure projects, this year’s competition now includes Building and Construction categories and will showcase innovative and connected BIM technology use. Categories include 1st and 2nd place for Building, Construction, and Infrastructure projects. There are also categories specifically for small or niche projects, such as fabrication, communication & collaboration, computational design, small & large building construction projects and more.
We will also award a Philanthropic Award that addresses the fields of public interest, social impact, community, humanitarian or sustainable design.
5 reasons to submit your project
1. MARKET YOUR SPECIALTY.
There are NINETEEN award categories. Whether you are a small or niche firm, or a large firm that wants to be recognized for a particular capability, such as fabrication, communication, collaboration, computational design, or more, there is a place for your project. Have several projects you’re proud of? No problem. You can submit up to five different projects into five different categories.
2. GET THE RECOGNITION YOU DESERVE.
Your project will get recognized publically just by submitting! Your project will be included in a showcase book that will be shared globally once the competition has closed, and may also be considered for an Autodesk success story featured on our website where it will be seen by thousands of visitors. This Showcase Book is easily shareable to your customers and clients.
3. PUBLICITY FOR YOUR PROJECT & COMPANY.
There will be promotion and coverage of the AEC Excellence Award winners across Autodesk social media accounts and websites, as well as mentions in AEC industry publications and media coverage of the Awards ceremony at AU Las Vegas 2016.
4. WHO DOESN’T LIKE PRIZES?
If your project is chosen, you could win a brand new HP ZBook, a trip to AU Las Vegas 2016 & recognition at the Autodesk University awards ceremony. And, of course, you’ll receive a beautiful trophy you can show off to all of your colleagues and clients once you return.
5. NETWORK WITH PEERS.
All winners will receive an invite to the Awards ceremony at AU. This event will provide opportunities for best discussions, networking and collaboration with your AEC industry peers.
