Model transfer from Revit to React Structures

Structural Engineers can transfer Revit models into React Structures in a flexible way using Dynamo.

Learn how to create a one way model transfer workflow from Revit to React Structures.

This script is an example of the workflow we could enable using React Structures, Revit and Dynamo. This graph could be extended to manage some additional analytical model elements like curved beams and surface elements and to transfer some Revit analytical model parameters like supports, releases and structural loads.

 

Radial Reinforcement in Revit with Dynamo

The modelling and detailing of reinforcement in a regular, circular floor in Revit can be done very straightforward using Path Reinforcement or by means of polar arrays.Once these circular floors have a varying thickness, and thus have a complex double curved top surface, the reinforcement modelling is best supported by using Dynamo.
