Biography

Nicolas Mangon joined Autodesk in 2003 as the product manager for Autodesk® Revit Structure®. Since then, he became the Structural Product Line Manager for Autodesk and he focuses on the product strategy for the structural space. For the past 16 years, Nicolas has designed software for structural engineers in Europe and North America. He has worked on a wide variety of products, including structural analysis, structural modeling and detailing for steel, cast in place concrete and precast concrete structures.
In the last 4 years, Nicolas has been at Autodesk, the front line evangelist for Building Information Modeling for Structural
Nicolas emigrated to the US about 8 years ago with his wife Marie who is also a structural engineer. They are leaving near Boston where they are raising their 4 daughters under the age of 4.
Nicolas received a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the Ecole Superieure des Travaux Public in Paris, France.


Wai Chu is the Revit Structure Product Manager. Wai has been working with Revit technical support since version 2 back in 2000.
His career at Autodesk includes 3 years in technical support, 1 year spent as a Autodesk Consultant/Trainer for Revit Structure, followed by 1 year as a Customer Success Engineer (CSE). Fluent in English, French and Chinese, Wai has been doing the Revit Structure product planning and providing technical support, training, consulting and implementation services to customers in the America, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Revit, Wai was graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Brian Haines has been with Autodesk for 5 years and is the Industry Marketing Manager for Structural Engineering solutions at Autodesk. Brian has also held the positions of Solutions Marketing Manager for engineering as well as Product Market Manager for Autodesk Quantity Takeoff. Brian has presented sessions on Building Information Modeling and facilities management at The National Collegiate FM Technology Conference as well as several other venues. Before entering the software world Brian spent 5 years as a CAD manager and Management Analyst in the office of Space Planning and Management at the University of Arizona. Brian holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from the University of Arizona
